Bookings for the Fiat Linea facelift have now begun; prospective customers can rush to the nearest Fiat dealer to book the new Linea. Fiat made the announcement on its official website; the new Linea was presented before the auto aficionados at the 2014 Auto Expo. 2014 Fiat Linea is already on sale in certain international markets; however, the launch date in India is still under wraps. But with the bookings now open for the new Linea it looks like the launch is around the corner.
Fiat Linea has strong competition in C segment with rivals like Honda City and Hyundai Verna who have carved a niche for themselves in the domestic market. Therefore, to stay in competition it is necessary to keep abreast with its rivals.
Fiat Linea is endowed with elegant looks and the modified version looks even better, apart from certain cosmetic changes on the exterior front, new Linea also flaunts some major changes in the interior. Among the cosmetic changes done externally, a new bumper, automatic headlights, new double slat fog lamps, reworked fog lamps and a double slat chrome grille are included. Rear now looks more enchanting, a chrome strip has been added and the licensing plate has been shifted above the boot-lid. The side profile of the sedan remains unchanged.
Additional features like cruise control, USB with Aux-In and Bluetooth streaming, rain sensing wipers, reverse parking sensors, a restyled dashboard and a few others can be seen inside the cabin. Fiat Linea has an excellent ground clearance which enhances the driving experience. Under the hood are the same 1.3 litre Multijet diesel engine and the 1.4 litre T-jet petrol engine in the respective diesel and petrol variants.
