Renault, the French automaker, is gearing up for the launch of much-awaited Lodgy MPV in the Indian market in April 2015. The company has already released the official pictures of the India-spec Lodgy, which is slightly different than the model currently on sale in international markets. The MPV will rival against the likes of Honda Mobilio, Maruti Ertiga, Chevrolet Sail, Toyota Innova, Nissan Evalia and the upcoming Chevrolet Spin.
Talking about styling, the MPV features a chrome grille, flanked by large sweptback headlamps. Other elements include body-coloured outside rear view mirrors, side moulding and door handles. Its flared wheel arches have been fitted to 15-inch alloy wheels. The vehicle has blackened B and C-Pillars, while the tail-gate has chrome garnish.
Inside the cabin, the vehicle gets dual-tone scheme with Gris Fume combined with Beige shade. The centre console has a piano black finish, while the steering wheel, gear lever and others are wrapped in leather. The vehicle will be offered in both seven-seat and eight-seat options; the 7-seater model will get captain seats in second row. The driver seat comes with height adjustment function, while the third row can be folded flat to create extra luggage space.

The 2015 Renault Lodgy MPV will be powered by a 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine in states of tunes - 85PS and 110PS. While the 85PS version gets a five-speed manual gearbox, the 110PS model is paired to a six-speed gearbox. The fuel efficiency is rated at 21.04kmpl for 85PS model and 19.98kmpl for the 110PS model.
