The international drivers are experts in the sport of truck racing, like the British Truck Racing and European Truck Racing championships. They have been specially invited by Tata Motors to display their racing skills. They will also show what the race-spec trucks specially developed by Tata are capable of on the race track.

Ravindra Pisharody, Executive Director, Commercial Vehicle Business Unit, said, "We at Tata Motors are delighted to host season III of the T1 Prima Truck Racing Championship, a much-awaited calendar event and one of the most pioneering in the country's commercial vehicle industry and India's motorsports history.
