      Suzuki Hayate EP unveiled, launch later this year

      Suzuki’s Hayate has been a commuter segment offering from the Japanese bikemaker in India. Suzuki has showcased the updated Hayate LP in the country that is expected to go on sale sometime later this year. Speaking more on the occasion, Masayoshi Ito, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL), said, “The all-new Suzuki Hayate EP appeals to every modern Indian rider. Our engineers and designers have worked very hard to give the Hayate EP superior fuel efficiency without compromising on pick-up. Added to that, the unmatched riding comfort of the Hayate EP makes it an ideal ride for daily commuters. We are confident that the new Hayate EP will be very well-received in the market.”

      The Suzuki Hayate EP would feature 110cc single cylinder, air-cooled, four stroke engine based on Suzuki’s Eco Performance (SEP) technology that offers improved performance than the older sibling. The bike gets high-ignition spark plug, low-friction piston rings and cylinder. The new technology additionally offers overall reduction in weight.

      The Suzuki Hayate EP would be offered in three shades Pearl Mira Red, Metallic Oort Grey and Glass Sparkle Black. As part of fresh upgrades the bike would feature new diamond frame, longer seat and a longer wheelbase. The bike also gets maintenance-free battery, five-step adjustable rear shock absorber and tubeless tyres.
