The Lonavala edition of the Tata Motors Full Throttle Trails, a chain of extreme off-roading half day motorsport events organised by one of the country's leading Utility Vehicle (UV) maker, marked the day on a great note. Being the pioneers of adventure motorsports in the country, Tata Motors have conceptualised the Full Throttle Trails with the idea to give its domestic SUV owners an opportunity to indulge in some adrenaline pumping off-roading activities, in contrast to their monotonous routine driving.

Speaking on the Lonavala edition of Full Throttle Trails, Ashesh Dhar, Head, Utility Vehicles, Tata Motors, said, “With off-roading gaining popularity, and due to the lack of off-roading tracks, Full Throttle Trails will give enthusiasts an opportunity not only to experience the thrill, ruggedness and toughness of their Tata Motors SUVs, but will also familiarise them with some serious off-road driving techniques, in a planned and safe manner. Besides Full Throttle Trails also offers customers a quick weekend getaway in the proximity of their respective cities.”

The Tata Motors Full Throttle Trails has been immensely popular and successfully concluded in various Indian cities including Chandigarh, Ludhiana, New Delhi, Jodhpur and Dehradun this year, with the Lonavala edition witnessing participation of more than 40 motorsport lovers.

Lonavala, the beautiful hill station near Mumbai provided great manoeuvring challenges to the participants, besides the tenacious rocky inclines and other tricky terrains upped the thrill quotient of the event. Cougar Motorsports has been roped in Tata Motors as the planning and execution partner of the 2012 Tata Motors Full Throttle Trails.
