      Dentsu Communications hired by TVS Motor to market Wego scooters

      TVS Motor Company, the South Indian two-wheeler maker, has hired Dentsu Communications to manage the sales and marketing strategy initiatives for its WEGO scooters. As a part of agreement, Dentsu will look on several campaigns for the brand and will be held responsible for handling its publicity across and print and television media.

      Expressing his views on this association, the President Marketing of TVS Motor Company, H S Goindi, quoted, “I must thank the earlier agency BBH for the award winning creative work in creating a differentiated position for WEGO. Equally, I eagerly look forward to a very fruitful and long term association with Dentsu Communication. We are confident that the team at Dentsu Communication with its deep experience and understanding of automobile brands will make their presence felt on WEGO future campaigns.”

      Speaking on this development, the Chief Executive Officer of Dentsu Communications, Arijit Ray, said “TVS WEGO is a great product and we are looking forward to working very closely with the brand team to carve out a distinctive communication position for the brand.” He further said that a team of Dentsu Communications Bangalore has young workers who have a significant experience of the Indian automobile industry, which will help the company to build and craft an integrated market scheme for Wego.

      The Wego brand of scoters happens to be the company’s iconic 110 cc model, which features metal body and a unique Body Balance Technology. With its new model, the auto maker has targeted the young urban couples.
