Fiat India finally unveiled the facelifted Linea sedan at the Auto Expo 2014. However, the exact launch date of the car is yet to be announced. But if rumours are to be believed, the updated Linea will be launched as early as March first week. The company will also launch the Punto Avventura crossover within this year.

The front fascia of the facelifted Linea features a redesigned front grille, new fog lamps, new bumpers and restyled grille with lots of chrome. The side profile looks identical to the regular hatchback, however, the outside rear view mirrors now feature turn indicators. At the rear, the vehicle gets subtle changes such as refurbished bumper with additional chrome strip, while the licensing plate has now been positioned on the bootlid.

On the inside, the Linea facelift has updated dashboard in a new shade. The utility spaces have been increased with bottle holders fitted in the front. The music system supports USB, AUX-IN and Bluetooth. Other features include 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, auto headlamps, rear parking sensor, rear sensing wipers and few others. When it comes to safety, the vehicle has ABS, EBD and airbags.

Fiat Linea will be offered with a 93PS 1.3-litre MultiJet engine and a 1.4-litre T-Jet petrol. Power is transmitted to front wheels via a five speed manual transmission.
