Ahead of its official debut at the Paris Motor Show, Ferrari has unveiled the 2017 LaFerrari Spider. This is the latest adrenalin pumping roll-out from the Italian sports carmaker’s production line. The upcoming hypercar gets a removable carbonfibre hard top or a soft top. The carbon fibre chassis has also received extensive modifications in order to offer improved torsional strength and aerodynamics.

Much like the original LaFerrari Coupe, the LaFerrari Spider gets a 6.3-litre V12 engine combined with an electric motor to generate a massive 950bhp of power. The hypercar is capable of doing a 0-100kmph in just about 2.5 seconds and can achieve a top speed of about 349kmph. The company has already handpicked customers and has confirmed to have sold all units.

Ferrari will be revealing the pricing and other additional details at the upcoming Paris Motor show event. Reports have claimed that the vehicle commands a price tag of approx Rs 25 crore (£2.8m) before taxes. The deliveries for the LaFerrari Spider will begin in 2017.
