Swedish car maker Volvo recently launched its XC60 in the Indian market. Now it intends to bring it new coupe S60 to India by 2011. Volvo is expected to bring either of the two variants choosing from 2.4 litre twin-turbo diesel with 205 bhp or a much more powerful 3.0 litre inline 6 cylinder T6 petrol, 300 bhp. Later it may introduce a 2.0 litre variant following the launch and market response of the petrol model.
Currently Volvo is working on increasing its dealership network in India to offer better sales and services to its customers. The company rivals luxury car makers like Audi, BMW 3 series and Mercedes C class in India.
