The new Range Rover Evoque will also come to India next year. “Evoque will be launched in India next year. It’s a very stylish, good-looking car that will have its own niche segment in the market, meant for people who can afford it and for whose lifestyle it fits,” said Rohit Suri, Head – Premier Car Division at Tata Motors. “The growth has been driven by our products itself, which have been received well by the Indian customers. Our customers include a whole gamut of people including celebrities, businessmen, corporate heads and real estate (individuals),” Suri said.

The car will imported as a completely built unit and will attract 110 percent import duty. Tata Motors is also expanding its dealership network for Jaguar and Land Rover cars in India looking at the increasing demand in luxury vehicles.
