In a move towards distinguishing itself as a provider of unique and state-of-the-art customer experience, Vodafone India has announced to make the Delhi-Noida-Delhi (DND) tollway free of charges on October 28, 2012 between 8 am and 10 pm.

The day also coincides with the final race of upcoming 2012 Formula One Airtel Indian Grand Prix to be held at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) in Greater Noida. Evidently, Vodafone

India is presenting the Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR) drivers, an opportunity to get a little hint of high speed driving involved in the global motorsporting spectacle.

Airtel, the country's largest telecommunication service provider, is the official title sponsor of 2012 Indian Formula One Grand Prix and also happens to be Vodafone's stiffest rival. Accordingly, Vodafone is aspiring to snatch the limelight from Airtel as the DND flyway is going to be very busy during the Indian Grand Prix as it connects South Delhi, Gurgaon and Faridabad with Greater Noida. Most of the residents and Formula One lovers of New Delhi, Gurgaon and Faridabad are expected to use the DND flyway, because the other route featuring the Kalindi Kunj bottleneck is notorious for its never ending traffic jams.

Further, the Indian Formula One enthusiasts will not have to wait in long queues for paying toll taxes. It is possible that no one could miss out on the race due to traffic jams as the DND flyway is famous for its speedy driving and cuts back Delhi - Noida travel time to just 7 minutes.

Expressing her delight at the company's new initiative, Anuradha Aggarwal, Senior Vice President (VP), Brand Communication and Insights, Vodafone India said, “Vodafone believes in providing unique experience to customers in all its activities and engagements. With the second season of India’s racing event round the corner, following the success of Vodafone Speed fest in Mumbai last month, we decided to speed up Delhi making it a fun and fast experience for fans and enthusiasts of motorsport. We hope visitors using the DND flyway on race day will have a speedy and joyful ride to the circuit.”
