Maruti Suzuki has been a leading carmaker brand that has been the favorite pick of an indian car buyer. For a while now, the upcoming Maruti Suzuki plant in Gujarat has been at the center of controversies. Fresh updates from sources have now revealed that the company may go ahead with its decision in terms of setting-up a plant there. Reports indicate that the first one to be rolled out from the plant would be the 7-seater Wagon R based vehicle codenamed the ‘YCA’.
A while ago the company had showcased the prototype trim of YCA at the 2013 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS). Much details have not been released by the company as of now except for the fact that the vehicle may be offered in 7-seater trim. The vehicle is likely to be launched sometime in 2017 and is stated to be a strong contender against the soon to be launched Datsun Go+ trim in India.
