The yet to launch Spin MPV from Chevrolet has been one of the much awaited vehicle in the country. This time around sources have managed to capture images of a camouflaged test mule on the Jaipur-Delhi highway. Assuming this to be production version, it is likely that the company may launch the MPV during the 2016 Auto Expo Event.
The Chevrolet Spin gets a 1.3-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that is mated to five-speed gearbox that generates about 89bhp of power and 200Nm of torque. While the petrol trim gets a 1.5-litre engine that generates about 107bhp and 148Nm of torque. Apart from manual, the petrol trim could also be offered with an optional six-speed automatic transmission. Apart from a fresh new design, the vehicle would also get MyLink infotainment system along with hands-free calls, smart phone connectivity and streaming audio and video as per personal choice.
In terms of dimensions, the Spin MPV measures about 1,735mm in width, 4,360mm in length, 1,683mm in height and wheelbase of about 2,525mm. On the design aspect, the vehicle sweptback headlamps, body-colored bumpers, ORVMs, dual honeycomb grille, diamond-shaped taillights, round fog lamps and a larger tailgate.
