The year 2014 has been great for car lovers across the country. With so many car models being launched in all the segments, the car lovers got more than they expected. As the industry moves forward to another year, 2015 promises to bring some more surprises for fans and customers. This year has a plethora of launches on its way and it will start right from the start of the year. There are a couple of releases lined up for January 2015 and the car lovers cannot wait for the year to start.
The first and foremost entry in the market will be that of Datsun GO+, which is a 7-seater version of the hatchback Go. The model will be offered with a 1.2 litre petrol engine at the beginning, but there are expectations that other variants will roll out once the initial model is successful. The frontal fascia is identical with the hatch version. It is expected to be one of most affordable 7-seaters in India at the moment after its launch. With this model, the MPV segment gets another model, which will definitely popularise the segment further.
Hyundai does not prefer to stop after winning the Indian Car of the Year award with its Elite i20. It has lined up the all New Verna for launch in the first month of the New Year. Recently, the sedan segment has been crowded with a number of back-to-back launches and Verna had been feeling the heat of the increased rivalry. It will definitely look to make amends and establish a new benchmark in the segment with the new model. The car has already been launched in Russia and has been a huge hit there. The manufacturer will definitely hope to make the same impact in India, if not more, once the car is launched in January 2015.
