Bajaj’s all new Pulsar 200 SS has been a much awaited fully-faired trim in the Indian market. The bike is expected to be launched in March this year and is likely to one of models being planned to be launched by the company in next six months. Based on reports it is likely that the new Pulsar trim may feature ABS as well as non-ABS trims and may be offered in four interesting shades. The company has not spoken on the pricing aspect yet, but based on anticipation it is likely to be offered under the INR. 1.5 Lakh tag.
The new Pulsar 200SS is likely to powered by the same 199.5 cc single-cylinder engine that serves the NS variant, but the 200 SS version may be tuned for a better power output at 24.5 PS. The fully fairing design features dual projector headlights with LED DRL, whereas the rear section gets a LED taillight. Better braking system and 6-speed gearbox ensures an overall enhanced performance.
