TVS has unveiled its age old Scooty in an all new avatar. The scooter has been rechristened as ‘Zest’. The scooter has undergone a complete overhaul, the design and mechanicals have been worked upon. The new Scooty Zest is powered by 110cc air-cooled, four-stroke engine. As per sources the engine has been mated to CVTI gearbox.
The TVS Scooty Zest features a telescopic fork at the front, whereas monoshock at the rear gives it much needed stability and comfort. Jet black rims compliments to the overall styling of this automatic scooter. Headlamps and tail lamps have been blessed by LED lighting system. The turn indicators are sharp cut and look attractive. Pillion rider footrests are high mounted for better positioning and the rider also gets a bigger footrest for comfort. Overall the scooter appears bigger and bolder than its previous generation. Moreover, the bigger capacity engine also comes as a blessing in disguise.
The TVS Scooty Zest has only been showcased at the Auto Expo event for now. As per sources, the scooter may be put up for sale sometime in April this year. The pricing for the scooter has not been revealed for now, but it is anticipated that it may come with an attractive price tag.
