The maximum torque of 8 Nm comes at 5500 rpm. Mileage of TVS Jupiter is slightly higher at 55 to 60 kilometres per litre. Top speed is again at 95 kmph, which makes it at par with Activa. The acceleration is relatively higher as it takes 7.2 seconds to clock 60 kmph from ignition. The self-start and kick start are both incorporate, which is again a standard in this segment. The 5.3 litre fuel tank capacity allows it to hold the same volume of fuel when full. With a higher ground clearance of 150 mm, it fairs better when it comes to protection of machinery on uneven roads. The tyres and brakes used in this model are identical with those of the Activa.
