BMW and TVS are working together to develop a 300cc motorcycle is already known to all. Now the international bike maker has revealed a concept model to give a brief idea of things to come from the joint venture between itself and TVS motorcycles. BMW Motorrad launched the concept Stunt G310 at the South America’s largest Motorcycle Show in Sao Paulo.

The TVS BMW G310 is essentially a single-cylinder 300cc motorcycle which has been designed with ride and handling in prime focus. Contributing to the Stunt 310 Concept, Chris Pfeiffer, four-times World and European Stunt Riding Champion, helped the model develop from concept into a real world model. He added, “. “Stunt riding is a demanding and multi-faceted sport. Ideally you need a compact, agile bike which is also stable and robust at the same time. You have to achieve the ideal balance between aggressiveness and control”

This concept runs on a newly developed single-cylinder engine that has a compact construction using innovative concept of the brand. The cylinder is inclined towards the rear and the cylinder head is rotated by 180 degrees. This has helped proper placement of the motor even though it is based on a short wheelbase. The front is low slung in styling while the rear is raised with a sharp tail section.

Even though the Concept Stunt G310 is just on a prototype stage, it is evident that this platform will form the underpinning of the new generation motorcycle from the joint partnership of the German and Indian brand. We expect TVS to showcase a production version in the coming months, precisely at the 2016 Auto Expo.
