Toyota Etios Liva Preview
Toyota Etios Liva is the hatchback version of Toyota Etios sedan, which was launched in 2010 December by Japanese giant automaker Toyota. Following the success of Etios sedan version the company is planning to launch its hatchback version on 27th June 2011. The Etios Liva will be the first hatchback version of Toyota in India. According to Toyota Kirloskar Motors Limited, the launching of entry level hatchback Etios Liva will take place in New Delhi. Initially, the company is planning to release only petrol variants of Liva and few months later the diesel Etios Liva will be launched.Toyota Etios Liva will compete with Maruti Swift, Hyundai i10, Chevrolet Beat, FordFigo and upcoming Honda Brio.
Toyota Etios Liva Engine and Specifications
The Toyota Etios Liva will have a 1.2 liter petrol engine with the displacement of 1200 cc, four valves per cylinder with MPFI technology and its total curb weight will be 890 kgms. Toyota Etios Liva engine can deliver maximum power of 80 bhp. It comes with five speed manual gearbox transmission and carries exterior dimensions of 3775 mm length, 1695 mm width and 1490 mm height and a five person seating capacity.
Toyota Etios Liva colors, prices, variants, and mileage
Toyota Etios Liva variants include the Liva J, Liva G and Liva V and they will in attractive colors like Boston University Red, Blue RYB, Silver, Guppies Green and Metal White.
According to the company, the Toyota Etios Liva can give a mileage of 14 km per liter in city and 18 km per liter in highways and its average mileage will be 15 km per liter. However, the actual mileage of the Etios Liva can be estimated only after its launch. Toyota Etios Liva price is expected to range between 4.5 lacs and 5.5 lacs.

The Toyota Etios Liva comes with an attractive exterior with U-Shaped front grille, where the Toyota Logo is fixed on the core part of this grille. It’s the car of macho as it comes with a muscular shoulder line. Furthermore the rear side of the car is unique, which is one of the additional attractions to the Liva’s exterior.
As for theToyota Etios Liva interiors, they are fully loaded with all necessary and standard features like rear defogger, rear wiper or washer, power steering with audio controls, integrated music system in dash, central remote locking system, tilt adjustment steering, power windows, A/C and so on. One of the additional attractions of Etios Liva is its dual tone color. Furthermore, it has ample of space in head and leg room.
