Toyota India has launched slightly modified variants of Etios sedan and Liva hatchback. Base variant of the new Liva is priced at Rs 4.76 lakh and goes up to Rs 6.57 lakh, while diesel range is priced between Rs 5.94 lakh to Rs 6.95 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi). Etios sedan petrol variants price starts at Rs 5.74 lakh and the high end version is available for Rs 7.06 lakh. Diesel Etios is priced between Rs 6.84 lakh to Rs 8.16 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Cosmetic upgrades comprise of a redesigned front grille across variants, with the top end trim getting a chrome finish. Cabin features finished door armrests and new seat fabrics. One of the major additions made to the Etios duo is driver and front passenger airbags offered across model range. Dual front airbags are also being offered as a standard fitment in Etios Cross. Features such as reverse parking sensors, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, a larger LCD readout for the instrument cluster have been incorporated in the higher trims. A new pearl white colour has also been added, but it is available only on the high end variants.
Besides this several other additions have been made such as chrome door handles, rear speakers and warning buzzer for seatbelt, door ajar and headlamp on.
Engine set up remains unchanged, Etios sedan continues to be powered with the same 1.5 litre, petrol and a 1.4 litre diesel engine. Etios Liva will also house the same 1.2 litre, petrol and 1.4 litre diesel engine.
