      Harley-Davidson to launch CVO limited and Breakout on October 30th

      Harley-Davidson will soon launch two new motorcycles including 2015 CVO Limited and 2015 Breakout in India on October 30th, 2014. 2015 CVO Limited will be brought to India through completely built unit while, 2015 Breakout Saftail will be assembled locally in India. Speculations also suggest that a third tourer is also likely to be launched alongside these two bikes on October 30th only. However there is yet not conformation on the same.

      The 2015 CVO limited tourer will be a part of Harley-Davidson’s Custom Vehicle Operations divisions that manufactures highly customized vehicles. Powering CZO limited will be a Twin Cam, 1801cc, V-Twin engine capable of engendering top torque of 156 Nm and will be matched to a six-speed transmission. On the feature front, the bike is expected to get LED head lights, ABS Brembo brakes, chrome finished cycle parts, 2-in-1 exhaust and an option of two-tone colour scheme. Besides this, other features such as adjustable seats, handle bar, colour coordinated saddle bags and stiffer 49 mm fork will also be put on offer. In India, the bike is expected to come with a hefty price tag of Rs 50 lakhs.

      The 2015 Harley Breakout on the other hand will house a Twin Cam 103B 1690cc, air-cooled engine developing towering torque of 130 Nm and will be paired to a six-speed transmission. Features such as fat forks, a slender fuel tank, twin exhausts and black alloys will be bestowed. The motorcycle will be offered as a two-seater, there is also a provision of removing pillion seat. It is expected that the 2015 Harley Breakout will carry a price tag of Rs 17 lakhs.

      Other than introducing new bikes in the country, the company is also working on expanding its dealership network in India. The company will soon launch new dealerships in Surat and Bangalore taking its current outlet number from 13 to 15.
