Japanese automaker Toyota had offered the special edition of Etios Liva named Etios Liva Sportivo in an attempt to boost the sales for the hatchback in the small car segment. Based on the V trim and offered as a special edition, the vehicle received interesting upgrades like body kits, additional decals and a special edition badging.
The Toyota Etios Liva Sportivo has been designed and developed in partnership with the Toyota Racing Development (TRD). Under the hood, the hatchback was offered with a 1.5-Litre that generated a decent 89Bhp of power. The bigger engine size also meant higher duty on the vehicle which resulted in customers shying away from the vehicle. The company has announced halt in production for the limited edition variant and shall continue to offer the hatchback in four diesel and four petrol variants in the country.
