Toyota launched a new variant of its luxury sedan, Toyota Camry, in India. The new variant carries mostly cosmetic changes in the exterior and comes with additional features to boost the sales in the market. There is a new front grille, new headlamps, new fog lights, rear view mirrors with indicators, 10 spoke alloy wheels and Aux input and minor changes in the interiors along with plasmacluster A/C with Minus Ion Generator, intelligent rain sensing wipers and moonroof.

The new face-lifted model will be available in two colours - Dark Green Mica Metallic and Beige Mica Metallic. It will be imported as a completely built unit and will attraction the 104 percent import duty levied on fully-imported cars. Thus, Indian customers can expected the car to be pricier than other similar models like Honda Acrord and Skoda Superb in its segment.

The New Camry is dearly priced in the range of Rs 21.26-23.40 lakh and would be available in four grades. New models of both its competing models will be available not before 2011 in India which will be an added advantage to Toyota.
