      Tata Nano LX and CX trims shall be discontinued to make way for the new Twist XE next month

      Tata Nano has been a popular pick among affordable car segment in the country. Lowest cost of ownership has been the mantra for Tata's Nano car in the country. Currently Tata Motors offer Nano in trims like - Nano STD, CX, LX, Twist XT and Nano CNG eMax XM. As per fresh updates, the CX and LX trims would be discontinued in the domestic market next month. The upcoming Nano Twist XE shall be launched as as a replacement for the CX trim and it shall be positioned below the XT trim.

      Speaking on new aspect in the upcoming Twist XE, the hatchback is likely to be available in shades of Silver, Gold and White. The vehicle is likely to be based on current CX trim with EPAS (electric power assisted steering), a larger steering wheel and the new attractive instrument cluster. Powered by an existing three-cylinder petrol engine the vehicle is capable of generating a power output of about 67 Ps. Tata motors has spoken on the pricing aspect yet, but going by reports, the vehicle is likely to be priced within Rs. 2.50 lakhs segment and is likely to be launched next month.
