The Hexa crossover from Tata Motors is expected to cast a magical spell over carbuyers sometime early next year. As spotted by sources, the production model gets minimal upgrades as compared to the concept model that was showcased at the Geneva Motor show that was held earlier this year. As per what can be seen, the crossover indeed appears to be a charmer and shape the new future for SUV from Tata Motors.

Believed to be an upgrade from the Aria, the Hexa is likely to get the same 2.2-liter VARICOR 400 engine that also serves the Safari Storme. The fairly powerful engine is capable of generating about 153Bhp of power with about 400Nm of torque and also get an optional shift-on-the-fly 4WD system. Apart from the 5-speed manual transmission, the vehicle may also get 6-speed automatic transmission developed by GMPT (General Motors Powertrain).

The concept model featured 6-airbags for safety along with Terrain Response System (Adaptive Suspension) derived from Land Rover, ESP, ABS, auto wiper and auto headlamps. The Hexa crossover also gets 6 seats pattern with captain seats for second row. In terms of convenience and entertainment, the vehicle gets, touch-screen infotainment system infused with Android smart-watch/smartphone connectivity, double barrel instrument cluster with LCD Multi Function Display, automatic climate control, and steering mounted controls. The full leather seats and LED ambient lights on the inside along with HVAC vents in second and third row is indeed a treat.
