      Suzuki Motorcycles registers massive growth of 49 percent in July12

      The Indian unit of the Japanese auto maker Suzuki, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL), has registered a massive sales surge of 49 percent in the month of July 2012. The company sold a total of 40,295 units of their vehicles during this month as compared to 27,088 units sold in the same month last year. The recently rolled-out Hayate model is receiving an overwhelming response from the Indian buyers.

      Speaking on the company’s performance during the month, Mr. Apul Gupta, SMIPL Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, said, "We have received a good response from the market for all our products. The newly launched Hayate, a mass segment motorcycle, has also received a tremendous response."

      Mr. Gupta added that the growing customer satisfaction among the buyers has led to positive word of mouth in the market.

      Excited with the high sales growth registered during this month, the company is aggressively planning to expand their foot prints in the Indian market.
