Bajaj Auto, the second largest two-wheeler maker in the country, has registered a marginal sales dip of 5.38 percent in motorcycle segment in the month of July 2012. The total sales of the company stood at 3,44,150 units during this month as compared to 3,63,712 units sold in the July 2011.
The company sold a total of 3,08,858 units of their motorcycles during last month as compared to 3,18,095 units sold in the same month last year, accounting for a dip of 2.90 percent.
The total exports of the company dipped 12.84 per cent to 1,25,501 units in the month of July this year as compared to 1,43,996 units dispatched to the overseas market in same month last year.
In the three wheeler segment, the company registered a sales decline of 35,292 units against 45,617 units sold in the same month last year, a dip of 22.63 per cent.
