Harley-Davidson India has opened two new dealerships in India, the first one at Diamond City Harley-Davidson in Surat, Gujarat, while the second one is Tusker Harley-Davidson in Bengaluru in Karnataka. With this establishment in Surat, it becomes the second dealership in Gujarat, where Harley-Davidson had set up their first at Ahmedabad in 2012. With this inclusion, there are 17 authorised Harley-Davidson dealerships in the country at present.
The launch of these dealerships is a clear indication to the fact that Harley-Davidson is going for strategic expansion in the country. Incidentally, the brand is about to successfully complete five years of its presence in the country. The brand has also said that it would grow its presence in the country with the primary focus being on the Tier I cities. Apart from that, the American two-wheeler giant will also venture towards establishing themselves in Tier II cities.

Srinivas Reddy, the Dealer Principal of Tusker Harley-Davidson was also available for comment. He said, “Tusker Harley-Davidson was among the first 5 dealerships to be opened in the country. We are excited to further expand our presence in Bengaluru. The additional dealership promises to provide greater accessibility to our customers as we grow and welcome them into the Harley-Davidson family.”
The latest dealerships will have on-board, all the 13 motorcycles, which are offered in India at present. The starting price will be 4.3 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) and Harley owners will also get a plethora of accessories and Harley-Davidson parts to customise their bikes according to their personal choice.
