Skoda will display the VisionS at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show on March 1. However, the carmaker has revealed the complete SUV through official images before its premiere at the upcoming motor show.

Thanks to these images, it is now clear that the VisionS concept gets four tapered and high-set LED headlamps and a wide grille. Along the sides, a sharp tornado line can be seen running across the entire length of the body. The aggressive look is further accentuated by the squared wheel arches, high shoulder line, sloping roof line and a long spoiler. The sporty looks are thanks to the diffuser with large exhaust pipes at the back and also a reflector running across the width of the rear bumper.

The car measures 4,700mm in length, 1,910mm in width and 1,680mm in height. It will be made available in three rows of seating arrangement, which will be a decent space to seat at least six passengers. According to Skoda, the interior of the VisionS concept will feature large digital displays designed for 'digital networking' and infotainment. Additionally, all the occupants can connect to the network in several ways from each seat in the vehicle.

Skoda's new SUV will be powered by a petrol-electric hybrid powertrain capable of producing 222bhp of power. This combined power output comes by coupling three motors, two that power the front wheels and one that sends power to the rear wheels. For the former, there is this 1.4-litre petrol mill that churns out 154bhp of power and 250Nm of torque, which comes mated to an electric motor capable of producing 54bhp of power and 220Nm of torque. The one powering the rear axle includes another motor producing 114bhp of power and 270Nm of torque. Skoda is calling this a 'smart' all-wheel drive (AWD) system that channels the power to all wheels through a six-speed DSG automatic gearbox.

The VisionS is the manufacturer's SUV design study previewing their upcoming new sports utility vehicle. The 'S' in the VisionS stands for SUV and the concept is an extension of the VisionC design language that was first unveiled in 2014. The production version of the Skoda VisionS might get the Kodiak moniker, however, there is no official confirmation about it yet. More details will be available soon.
