Czech carmaker Skoda has been a popular name in the global automotive circuit. The carmaker is known for its technological potential in the automotive industry. This time around the carmaker has achieved a new feat with over 1 Million car sales in 2014. The reports go on to state that Skoda has managed to deliver about 955,300 vehicle units across the globe between January and November in 2014, as against 920,800 units that was reported in the same period back in 2013. This indeed goes on to show that the company has managed to sell an additional 34,500 vehicle units this year.
Speaking more on the occassion, Prof. Dr. h.c. Winfried Vahland, Skoda CEO, said, “Skoda will set a new sales record this year. Following the positive results in November, the milestone of one million vehicles produced and sold in one calendar year is certain. Producing and selling one million Skoda cars for the first time in one year is a milestone for our brand, and has made the whole team very proud.”
