Ultra luxury car manufacturer Roll Royce will launch the facelifted model of its highly successful Ghost super luxury car in the Indian car market in November. Named as Ghost Series II, the luxury car gets subtle yet noticeable changes to both exteriors and interiors. First launched in 2010, the Ghost is the least priced car in Rolls Royce’s luxury portfolio.
The mid-life facelift model gets updated front fascia with reshaped LED headlamps, new bumper, larger front intakes and restyled indicators. At the back, the vehicle gets new bumper and slightly tweaked tail lamps. Inside the cabin, the Ghost Series II has all new seats and an updated infotainment system.
Mechanically, the Ghost remains unchanged. Under the bonnet is the same 6.6-litre V12 motor that features twin turbochargers. It is capable of producing a top power output of 563bhp and 780Nm of peak torque available at 1,500rpm. The massive engine is paired to the same 8-speed ZF automatic transmission that is carried over from the predecessor. The new Ghost Series II is equipped with new rear axle bearings, newly formulated struts and wheel dampers. These results into a better NVH levels and offer improved driveability. The launch of the Ghost Series II will take place on November 7th, and is expected to be priced around 3.8-4 crore.
