The 85 PS diesel variant of Duster, the best-selling SUV of Renault India, has been silently updated by the brand recently. Incidentally, the car had made an introduction in the Indian automobile sector during the first part of this year with the AWD (All-Wheel Drive) option. A number of useful updates have been made in the recent variant, making it better for the challenging Indian roads.

The brand has not made any hustle-bustle about the recent updates on the Duster 85 Diesel variant. The subtle tweaks in the mechanical aspects and an updated interior have been quietly introduced to make it more attractive for the customers. The RxL (Option) and RxL (Plus) trims are the only ones, which have been updated till now. The first and foremost change, which has been introduced in the model, is the better sound insulation for the engine bay. This will ensure improved NVH levels for a better driving experience. Apart from this aspect, the most important thing, which has made an entry in the car, is the renewed rubber beading on the doors. This system was first spotted in the AWD Duster, launched earlier; however, these have been improved in the new updates.

Renault Duster also gets revised interiors, which will be spearheaded by a chunkier steering wheel. The instrument cluster has also been given a smarter appearance, with white backlight and a dedicated dial especially for the MID screen. Audio controls have been mounted on the steering wheel, which makes it all the way cooler. The interiors have been adorned with a different shade of beige as was in the older AWD version. New fabric upholstery has been introduced for the seats, the piano-black door handles and the door trims.

There had been some complaints from the UK-buyers about the India-made models getting some rust-issues. The updated model will also get some improvement on the basis of fit and finish as well as paint updates. These changes will be extended to the top-end 110 PS variants, too. The prices are expected to remain the same and the new models will hit the showrooms by the first half of next year.
