      Renault Kadjar crossover debuts at 2015 Geneva Motor Show

      Renault, the French automaker has unveiled the all-new Kadjar SUV at the ongoing Geneva Motor Show. The Kadjar crossover will be positioned above the Captur crossover and will be introduced in the European and African and a few other markets. The car will also make its way to the UK and China. We believe that the company could also bring this crossover to our shores, owing the high demand for SUVs and crossovers here.

      The Renault Kadjar crossover is based on the CMF (Common Module Family) platform that also underpins the Nissan Qashqai. It will be made available in both 2WD and 4WD configuration. According to Renault, the Kadjar has fluid, athletic exterior styling. Using the top-notch quality material, the interiors of the crossover look very sporty. It will be the first Renault vehicle to be locally manufactured in China.

      The Kadjar crossover shares components with the Captur SUV, while the design is inspired from the DeZir concept. It is equipped with optional LED headlamps, a Clio-like rear end and soft lines. The wheel arches have been fitted to 19-inch alloys. The cabin of the vehicle is claimed to be very comfortable and feature-rich. It is equipped with the R-Link 2 multimedia system. The vehicle shares its engine lineup with Nissan Qashqai, since It features the same 1.2-litre and 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol and diesel engines.
