Renault Duster, one of the most awaited vehicles in the Indian auto market, was recently spotted while on road test near company’s manufacturing plant near Chennai. The red colored test mule of the SUV was seen featured with a number of cosmetic features including body-coloured wing mirrors, running boards and fog lamps. While the earlier test mule was lacking all these features, which indicates that the base variant won’t be carrying any of these features.
The Renault Duster will be the forth portfolio model of this French car maker in the Indian market, which had marked its re-entry in the country in year 2011.
The Renault Duster model will be rolled-out in 5 variants in the Indian auto market in the price segment of Rs 7 to 11 lakh. The petrol variant of the model will come powered by 1.6-litre petrol engine. On the other hand, the diesel variant will come powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine, which is already doing duties in the Fluence sedan. The diesel variant will be launched in two engine power versions including an 85 bhp and a 108 bhp version.
