Just few days are left for the civic polls in Mumbai and that is why Bal Thackeray and Raj Thackeray are leaving no stones unturned to mark their presence. An important way to reach potential voters is through rallies. According to sources, election rallies of both the parties generate massive turnout that result in jam-packed roads. People who were planning to go out with their families in the evening refrained from doing so to avoid the discomfort of heavy traffic.

Shiv Sena decided to hold their rally at the MMRDA grounds in Bandra-Kurla Complex. The Jamboree Maidan in Worli hosted the rally for the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena. Raj Thackeray was present in Nashik on 12th February and stated, “After lot of time, I have decided to finally hold the rally at Jamboree Maidan. I am really unhappy that I have been denied the Shivaji Park grounds.”
