      New Tata Indica V2 Turbomax Launched

      Tata Motors has launched the new Indica V2 Turbomax variant of its most popular hatchback model in the domestic market. The car is BS IV compliant and will be available in two variants – DLS and DLE. DLS is the top end model that will feature power steering but DLE will be devoid of it. Both the models will also be devoid of any new safety features like airbags or ABS.

      Tata Motors launched the car with tagline of “More Space, More comfort” claiming fuel efficiency of 19.00 kmpl on highways and 14 kmpl in the city. The 1.4L turbocharged engine produces a maximum power output of 71PS @ 4500rpm and a maximum torque of 135Nm @ 2500rpm.

      The new model features new clear lens headlamps, front grille with chrome strip, body coloured bumpers, new clear lens tail lamps, and new ORVMs on the exteriors. Interiors of the car boast of a new horn pad for steering wheel, digital odometer mounted on a new electronic instrument cluster with two trip meters featuring light intensity controls. There is also a new floor console with provision for mobile charger or a cigarette lighter.

      The model is available in four colours – Furnace Red, Magnesium Grey Arctic Silver and Mint White where the Furnace Red and Magnesium Grey colour is present only in DLS variant.
