      New Mercedes-Benz C-Class to be launched in India on November 25th

      The very famous luxury car manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz has announced the launch of its C Class for the Indian markets on the upcoming November 25. This has been an unexpected move taken by the company as the speculations of the launch were made out to be in the next year. The unveiling of this car which is 9 mm longer, 40 mm wider 5 mm shorter and with an 80 mm longer wheelbase was made in North American International Show which was held at Detroit in December, 2013. This Mercedes- Benz C class is an improvement over its predecessor in every possible manner.

      Mercedes-Benz C Class will be launched in accordance to the company’s latest new lightweight Modular Rear-Drive, called Mercedes Rear-Drive Architecture (MRA). C Class will be available in both petrol and diesel variants but the company officials have announced to launch just the petrol variant on the proposed date. A 2L 4-cylinder engine, capable of delivering a power of 208 bhp and torque of 30 Nm is expected in the upcoming petrol variant. An overwhelming 7-speed automatic transmission is also to be installed in this car.

      The interiors of this car have been changed a lot as compared to the previous models. The new design has an inspiration from the S class with contour curves, new headlights and tail lamps design. Along with this, the LED headlamps, along with LED tail lamps could also be seen in this C Class. The newly designed dashboard comes with a multi-use 3 spoke steering, new air-vents, and a new COMAND system installed in the 8.4 inch touch enabled display unit.

      The car has been designed to keep the luxury of the passengers intact. The top version of this car in the Indian market would cost one almost Rs. 40.5 lakhs, starting from Rs. 33.45 lakhs for the basic variant.
