Ever since its launch, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class has always been the best-selling cars from the German automaker in India. The C-Class has been dominating the entry-level premium luxury sedan segment for years. With an aim to keep it fresh and updated, the company introduced the new-generation C-Class, in 2015, with major cosmetic updates and few additional features. Though, the engine mechanism remains unchanged.


 

    • Mileage

      Ever since its launch, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class has always been the best-selling cars from the German automaker in India. The C-Class has been dominating the entry-level premium luxury sedan segment for years. With an aim to keep it fresh and updated, the company introduced the new-generation C-Class, in 2015, with major cosmetic updates and few additional features. Though, the engine mechanism remains unchanged. 

    • Interiors

      From inside, the new-gen C-Class is more spacious and upmarket than its predecessor. The car gets new ambient lighting in three colors and five dimming levels and touchpad for easy access, along with regular equipment such as dual tone dash, infotainment system with 8.4-inch display, 3D satellite navigation and phone connectivity, reverse parking sensors, ARTICO leather upholstery etc.

    • Exteriors

      Based on Mercedes’s new lightweight modular MRA platform, the new-gen C-Class features low stance and short front overhands, twin-slat grille with signature three-point star logo, daytime running light design and a long bonnet on front end. The side profile gets sleek shoulder lines merging from LED headlamps and stretching towards the door handles. The rear end, too, looks refreshing with modified rear bumper, tail lamps and boot lid. The new C-Class is longer and wider than the old model, but the height is reduced by 5mm.

    • Engine & Performance

      Powering the new-gen C-Class is a 2.0-litre petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel engines that develop a maximum power of 181bhp with 300Nm, and 167.62bhp with 400Nm respectively. Both the powertrains are mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission (7G-TRONIC Plus).
