The Suzuki Swift facelift will continue to be offered in both petrol and diesel guise. While the petrol version is powered by a 1.2-litre K-series motor, the oil burner is the same 1.3-litre multi-jet unit. The company has re-tuned the engines to offer better fuel efficiency. The gasoline Swift is claimed to return an impressive fuel economy of 20.4kmpl, while the diesel model delivers an excellent mileage of 25.2kmpl. The new hatchback is 10 per cent more fuel efficient than the outgoing model.

The Maruti Swift facelift gets cosmetic upgrades to both exteriors and interiors. The exteriors of the hatchback features restyled bumper that accommodates L-shaped silver accents, redesigned air dam, etc. The vehicle also gets two new exterior shades including Solid Red and Violet. The top-spec model is loaded with high-end features such as keyless entry with push start/stop button, music system with Bluetooth compatibility, electrically adjustable and foldable outside rear view mirrors, reversing camera, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic BrakeForce Distribution), airbags for driver and co-driver, etc.
