The upcoming model from ‘three pointed star’ is expected to come equipped with an option of either a twin turbo V8 or twin turbo V12 engine, similar to the one packed within the current model. The maximum power output of both the engine options is anticipated to range between 429 bhp to more than 550 bhp. Interestingly, the launch of diesel and hybrid versions of S Class is also anticipated to be soon launched by Mercedes-Benz. On the introduction of a hybrid technology, industry experts are of view that the hybrid arrangement will be similar to what was packed within Vision S500 Plug-in Hybrid Concept.

Along with a powerful engine, the 2014 S Class is expected to come equipped with a number of safety features, which will ensure complete safety of its passengers. In its new model, the German auto maker has mainly concentrated on the security of its passengers.
