Maruti never fails to miss its mark in the Indian market. This time it has done it again with the launch of new Maruti Estilo. If you are thinking it has phased out ‘Zen’, you are mistaken. It is still there at the back written in tiny letters. So what is different? The POWER!
Yes, the new Estilo is powered with 1.0L three-cylinder KB series engine. We have already seen the power in A-Star model which is extremely successful in European market. The new Estilo has the same engine under the hood that delivers 67 ps of power and maximum torque of 90 nm @ 3500 rpm. It is completely BS IV compliant engine ready for the new norms coming into effect in April 2010.
If you are guessing the price, it is in the range -) The price of the Estilo is in the range of Rs. 3.12 lakh – Rs. 3.66 lakh. The new model is available in three variants LX, LXi, VXi and 4 new colours making it available in total 8 colours: New Ecru Beige, Emerald Blue, Dusky Brown, and Quantum Orange, Silky Silver, Superior White, Bright Red and Midnight Black.
