      Maruti DZire To Be Backed With Strong Marketing Campaign

      Indian economy is booming and so is the car industry in India. Maruti has recently launched its new model Maruti Dzire which would be backed by a strong sales force and strong marketing campaign.

      Maruti is one of the largest car manufacturers in India. It now plans to focus its campaign for Maruti Dzire in tier-2 and tier-3 cities of India where general economic growth is clearly visible. With more dispensable income and lesser options for expenses in smaller cities, Maruti plans to cater to demands for new cars in these cities.”

      “Maruti also has plans to focus on tier II, III cities in India where the information technology, retail, entertainment industries and other effects of general economic boom are catching up. Selling vehicles here would require more of one-to-one contacts by a sales force rather than selling via Internet and other media publicity methods deployed in tier I cities” says Mr. Mohan Ramakrishna, lead of Auto Focus Team, Maruti Suzuki.

      Maruti has trained more than 10000 sales persons all across the nation to promote its new model Maruti Dzire in India. It has put together some artists as well for the marketing promotion to compose a song for its new model.

      The A3 segment has witnessed a steady growth in past few years. Ford Fiests, Hyundai Verna and Honda City had been strong contenders of this segment. Esteem from Maruti had been a very basic model in this segment which was gradually phased out from the market. According to the company spokes person, the customers not only wanted a bigger car but also the luxuries, comfort and excitement of driving a bigger car.
