Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd (MTWL), the quickly growing motorcycle maker in the country, on Monday announced to re-launch its Stallio bike by the end of this year. With the launch of new 110 cc bike, the company will not only be able to strengthen its position in the Indian market, but will also able to reach more and more buyers in the Indian market.
Speaking to the reporters on Monday, Devendra Shinde, marketing vice president of MTWL, said, "We will be re-launching the Stallio during the festive season this year. Earlier, we had made a soft launch of the bike. We have made some modifications and it is ready for launch." He added that the company has a strategic intent to be an end-to-end player in the two-wheeler market. Over a period of time, Mahindra will have presence in the motorcycle segment as well.
MTWL, which had marked its debut in the Indian market in year 2008, registered a considerable 53 percent growth in the eastern part of the country in the first quarter of this financial year, as compared to units sold in the same period last year. After establishing its operations in the 125cc scooters segment, the company is now looking forward to develop bikes in the segment of 135cc and 155cc.
