Mahindra & Mahindra honours Bronze medallist MC Mary Kom by presenting a Bolero

Country's leading Utility Vehicle (UV) maker, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited (M&M), has honoured MC Mary Kom, the London 2012 Olympic Bronze medal winner, with its best seller Bolero SUV. With this move, the auto maker stated that the felicitation marks a symbol of association between two strong personalities – MC Mary Kom and Mahindra Bolero that both entail the spirit of ‘Taking on Anything’.

The model has been exclusive designed to take on everything, right from bad roads to unfavourable weather conditions. Company officials believe that the rugged Bolero will remain parallel with the personality of Mary Kom, who can take on competition from anyone in the world in the boxing arena.

Senior officials of M&M affirmed that Bolero is a perfect vehicle for the country's boxing champion, who has given an appreciable performance at the London 2012 Olympics. The statement further said that Mary Kom is an epitome of Mahindra’s RISE terminology by destroying a male dominated bastion.

At the time of offering keys of the model to 5 times world boxing champion, the Chief Marketing Officer, Automotive Division, M&M, Vivek Nayer, quoted, “We are proud to be associated with MC Mary Kom.
