Luxury car maker, Audi, has inaugurated a new service facility in West Delhi, which is laden with state-of-the-art features and is the first of its kind from Audi with integrated approved plus concept. The opening of the new service facility takes the total count for Audi's facilities in the Delhi/NCR region to three. Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India and Mr. Tarun Kapoor, Managing Director, Audi Delhi West (Sterling Vehicle & General Sales Pvt. Ltd) inaugurated the company's new facility.
Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India said, “Our philosophy of ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ is not just about advanced technology, but also about the flawlessness and excellence we endeavour towards our service standards. Audi prides itself globally and in India for impeccable service principles and a third service facility in Delhi reveals this commitment to Audi owners. After sales service is a key part of our growth strategy and we base a big chunk of our success in India so far to our workshops which strive towards customer delight.”
Perschke further said, “The opening of the third facility in Delhi also points out to our growing popularity in the Northern region. This is a very important market for us and inauguration of the largest service workshop here signifies our seriousness towards our customers here.”
The service facility is spread over an area of around 50,000 square feet and houses 28 bays, body shop and housing service facilities. The new facility, located at 19 Shivaji Marg, main Najafgarh Road, Moti Nagar, can service up to 30 cars each day and has an additional capacity for 9 bays that can be used in case of accidental care. The technicians have been properly trained by Audi, so that they can properly use repair equipment and tools and can meet Audi standards.
Speaking on the inauguration of the service facility, Tarun Kapoor, Managing Director, Audi Delhi West said, “It has been an absolute privilege and honour to be associated with Audi in India. Taking this association forward, I am delighted to offer after sales service to customers at this new facility, which is at par with global parameters. This facility, which is located in the heart of Delhi, not only offers our customers convenience in terms of location but also timeliness since, we will be able to service 30 cars per day.”
Audi is determined to increase its network in the country and has in the last few months opened new showrooms in Raipur, Ahmedabad and Kanpur. The calendar year 2012 also witnessed the opening of the Audi showrooms with world class features in Goa, Navi Mumbai, Nagpur, Bhopal and Delhi West. The car maker with five rings in 2011 too opened their showrooms at various places in the country, namely - Delhi South, Ludhiana, Surat , Chennai and Indore.
The Audi's models available in the country as of now include Audi Q3, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi A7 Sportback, Audi A8L, Audi S4, Audi RS5 Coupe, Audi TT Coupe, the super sports car Audi R8 and the Audi R8 Spyder.
