Italian automobile giant Lamborghini, owned by the Volkswagen Group, has released its figures for the fiscal year 2014 and the statistics recorded are unprecedented in the firm’s history spanning over half a decade. During this period, Lamborghini delivered 2530 units to customers, which was a growth of 19 per cent from the previous statistic of 2121. In addition, Lamborghini’s turnover for this period stood at 629 million Euros, which is about 24 per cent increase from the last period’s figure of about 508 million Euros. According to statistics, this excessive rise in figures achieved by Lamborghini is mainly due to the demand for Aventador model and the change in marketing strategy adopted for promoting the Huracan.

Speaking about the development, Stephan Winkelmann, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lamborghini, said, “For the fourth year in row Automobili Lamborghini delivered a very satisfying performance. The record values underline the attractiveness of our model portfolio as well as the strength of our global brand, product and commercial strategy.”
