John Abraham is one the popular Bollywood actors who has been able to carve a niche among youngsters due to his physic, complemented with good acting skills. But, not every fan knows that John Abraham is also a lover of bikes and high-end cars. Quite predictably, John finds himself frequently in spicy news related to Bollywood movies and various launch ceremonies. But, many of his fans never would have imagined that their favourite actor will head news for something as petty as riding a bike without a helmet.
The news flashing John driving his new Aprilia RSV4 bike without the safety of helmet has spread like a fire in the cyber space. Notably, the actor actively advocates safe driving and following of traffic rules for youngsters and bikers. But, with him ignoring a simple traffic rule certainly does not make for the best news or may be will? Who knows, maybe it could be one those tactics to be in news for something or other. Notably, Piaggio Vehicles Private Limited, had recently granted the wish of this Bollywood actor and passionate biker by honouring him with the legendary Aprilia RSV4. This superbike has already won 94 Grand Prix races in Road Racing World Championship and is a feature-rich bike loved by millions of hearts across the world.
On receiving the key of this bike, John had commented excitedly, “This is one of my best moments ever. Aprilia RSV4 is a dream bike and I wanted to own one for quite some time. I thank Piaggio for handing me the phenomenal Aprilia RSV4, much sought after by several in the biking circuit!”

The Aprilia RSV4 derives its power from a powerful 999.6 cc V-4 engine featuring Liquid cooling and DOHC. This powertrain has been mated with a 6-speed manual gearbox. It is able to generate a power output of maximum 180 bhp at 12500 rpm along with a torque of up to 115 Nm at 10000 rpm. John had taken this Aprilia RSV4 out for a city ride without the safety of his helmet. As aforementioned, this could be media-hype tactic, but nonetheless, the message that has been asserted to his millions of fans, youngsters and passionate bikers is certainly not worth the stature of this actor. From this point of view, it is really surprising to see such an actor neglecting such an elementary road-safety rule. Also, these bikes are highly powerful and with human instinct to become a part of thrilling moments, John had very well compromised his own safety.
Though, nothing has been mentioned about the time duration on bike without helmet, any harm or injury conferred on this actor would have sadden his huge fan base who want yet another great movie after Madras Cafe from him. This helmet-less driving is just one odd instance; and in future, fans would like John to be covered with protective sheath before going out on a ride on this superbike.
