Yoga has been globally popular as an ancient meditation art. Though generally we see yoga practioners do it on solid ground, a man named Gugulothu Lachi Ram Naik aged about 40 years practises Yoga while rising atop a motorcycle. It is said that it took him about six months of rigorous practise that included tough postures and moves.

Speaking more about his passion and practise sessions, Naik says, “I practice Yogasanas on my motorbike, mainly in open grounds and places devoid of traffic with utmost care. A television programme on the breathtaking display of daredevilry of army men on motorbikes during the Independence Day fete inspired me to practice Yogasanas on my motorbike over six years ago. I learnt Yogasanas on my own by referring to some books and practised them for several months in the past.”

Currently Naik pursues his hobby without using any safety equipments like helmet or any other safety gear, but as a word of caution to young stunt riding enthusiasts he says, “I advice youth, including my son not to try the feats on motorbikes as it requires years of rigorous practice to demonstrate such tough postures while riding the bike.”
