Atal Indore City Transport Services Limited's (AICTSL) concept if 'i-bike' fell flat as it failed to generate sufficient interest. The company also failed to procure bicycles that have been due for a while now, owing to which, space earmarked for cycles at Sathya Sai Crossing in Vijay Nagar has been encroached upon by two-wheelers. The idea behind the project was to make cycles available on rent so as to promote healthy lifestyle among locals.
Speaking more on the occasion, Sandeep Soni, AICTSL CEO, said, “The operating company, which was to launch 'i-bike' stand is demanding more time to make it operational. This had also led to people creating nuisance at stands, as the company had not deployed any guard there. The company has breached trust of people. It has been issued notice as it failed to provide services on time.”
