      Hyundai Verna may receive fresh upgrades that make it a hotseller post launch

      Hyundai's Fluidic design philosophy has took many by its fancy. The smooth curves has earned its cars a distinctive appeal on the tarmac. The Verna sedan from Hyundai has been a poplar pick in its segment. Factors like distinctive style, comfort and reliability that Verna offers has been well accepted by the local audience. In recent times with fresh launches from its rivals like Maruti Suzuki, Chevrolet, Volkswagen, the Korean carmaker has also been planning to launch a facelifted version of its popular Verna sedan.

      As stated earlier, it is believed that the new Verna from Hyundai shall be launched sometime next year. A source from the company stated, “It should be out in the market by the first quarter of next year.” The interiors in the upcoming Verna is not expected to receive major upgrades except for minor tweaks. Pricing aspect is unknown for now, but it is anticipated to be priced somewhere in the range of about Rs. 7.30 – Rs. 11.50. Post launch, the new Hyundai Verna shall face strong competition against the likes of new Honda City, recently launched Ford Fiesta and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz sedans in the country.

      Hyundai's strongest rival in the country, Maruti Suzuki has already received booking for over 13,000 Ciaz units in the country of which about 4,000 units have already been delivered to the customers. Speaking more on the occasion an industry insider said, “Maruti's wider sales network and relatively cheaper maintenance cost will help Ciaz attract buyers in the segment.”
